My Anti-Valentine

Valentine's Day is the most ridiculous holiday ever created. It's a day that couples feel waaaayyyy too much pressure to be perfect. A guy must have lots of money, time, and great ideas for his girl. A girl must wait around, spending hours getting ready for the unexpected. If you're a guy, how do you keep coming up with new ideas every year? If you're a girl, how do you prepare for the unexpected? The whole idea of Valentine's is absolutely perpostrous. It's like having another anniversary. Isn't one anniversary a year enough? You basically do the same thing for an anniversary as you would for Valentine's Day. The man gets her flowers, takes her out to eat, gives her something special, etc. Why must we make a man go broke twice a year? It's such an uncomfortable feeling all together. sometimes people just have to be people

Peopel are just................well...................people. Sometimes they may surprise you. Sometimes they may make you angry. Sometimes they may make you sad. And sometimes they may even bring you joy. Their main focus isn't to try specifically to harm you or effect you with any 1 of these emotions. It is just simply to live their life......day by day. So someone you know may get up an hour earlier than they usually do. (Surprise) Then they might break your brand new ipod by accidentally knocking it down and stepping on it while rushing out the door. (Anger) And when you are supposed to meet up for lunch, they just don't show up without even calling. (Sad) Then later that night they bring you your favorite ice cream. (Joy) And with a little glimpse of happiness you re-evaluate the day. You try to see it differently, perhaps even more clearly. They got up earlier because they know that you think they're lazy.
